Yes they do, provided you like beets. (And I do. So sweet and earthy.)

pecans are amazing!! my papa had pecan trees on the farm and me and my brother would try to climb it to get the pecans when hungry but you need a nutcracker to open them anyways.

well, they have a hard shell but I guess if you hit them on a rock they'd open. not that there were many rocks on the farm.

dilly beans are basically picked garden fresh green beans... the spices put in are dill and garlic cloves and lots of other pickling yummy goodness spices... you let them ferment and pickle and then crack those babies open! GLOOOORious!

I'll try to remember, Linn. Something tells me they're not so common in this area, though. (I may have to stick with beets. And cabbage. And, of course, cucumbers.)

Hey Facade! That's why you love us, though, right? :)

Yeah, Kat, pickling should really be reserved for vegetables. It doesn't work quite so well for eggs. Or sausage. Or... pigs' feet. :gonk:

Actually, I've never had them, Linn. Normally I'm pretty adventurous about new foods, but I have to draw lines somewhere.
