I'd say anything I can reply to is good. Clearly the first post or two will just be all of us getting to where we're going, so... Not much togetherness there. So in the beginning there should be some length (as far as collecting a backstory goes), but after that, anything's game! :D
I typically stick to three to five paragraphs, although I've been known to go a helluva lot longer. :ninja:

I was going to wait a bit on the story until after the incident, at least for my particular character. I'm just going to take my first post and get her into the elevator, where she is going, etc etc, and a bit of character development. I assume all of yours will be the same rough thing. And then a post about what she is doing, and then returning to the elevator, where the incident occurs. Sound peachy?

So the "story" part you mentioned... Do you mean backstory on your character before they get to the office building and such? Or the actual event that unfolds in the building with them and their therapist?
'Cause realistically, you could be as vague and brief as you'd like with the therapist bit... I mean, the therapist is bound to know your character from top to bottom! Some sessions are extremely short and nondescript... They both know the situation, but it doesn't have to be talked about. ;)

I'm the type that likes to flesh their characters out as they go. :P Sure, I may have a vague idea as to what kind of person they are, their motives in life, blah blah blah, but not enough to ramble on in a form. :gonk:
