(I've read extensive reviews on which eBook is "best," and the Kindle's been deemed #1... And while I love Barnes and Noble and Borders dearly, I'd much rather go with Amazon on this. :roll: )

Books have always been a hassle for me, since they're always tossed in this bag or that suitcase, or mercilessly ruined while left on this table, blah blah blah. :P
I'm a bit OCD when it comes to keeping things I cherish in good condition, and I also love the idea of being able to lug thousands of books around in a one-book sort of format. :) Not even one book, really! It's just THAT damn light! :lol:

I'd also need a protective carrying case thingy whatever you call it, of course. The screens are apparently really fragile, and well... A cover thingy would give it a more bookish feel. :insane:

(The Kindle's back, if I remember correctly, actually feels like the cover of a book. I forget how, but yeah. :lol: )

I would be open to having one on vacation, for sure. Cause I am the person who will bring 2 or 3 books for a bit of light reading :P

I do most of my reading in the spring/summer/early fall, and that's always the height of the traveling season for me. :P
