and heeeeey... i was looking at that link for mockingbird, cica and down near the bottom of the article is a picture that says 'rescue mission'... who are the girlies with mockingbird? do you know?

Sadly, Linn, I do. XD From left to right, we have Jessica Jones (aka Jewel, though I don't know whether she's back to using that alias.) She has the generic set of flight/strength/durability powers, and debuted in an awesome series written by Brian Michael Bendis (who excels at writing noirish stuff) called Alias. Which I highly recommend. For grown-ups.

Next, near the top, in the black and red, is Carol Danvers, aka, Ms. Marvel. Genetically part alien (I think) due to an accident, she has a power set similar to Jessica's, with the addition of energy absorption and projection. She's also military. And generally kinda boring. (I still want to cosplay her sometime, though.)

At the end, we have Jessica Drew, aka, Spider-Woman. Super-strength, agility, pheromone powers, energy projection. Spy stuff and major angst.

You know, this picture is just full of angsty characters. XD

That's a different Alias, Linn. They're not related. :) Actually, Jessica Jones is a married mother of one now, last I knew. I don't really follow her now that she's mainstream.

Spider-Woman does have them, yes. They tend to attract men and repel women, if she's using them, I think...

S'okay, Linn. XD Stuff like that can get confusing. No, the Alias I'm referring to... Well, Jessica, who considers herself a failed super-hero (and she might not be wrong about that), runs a private investigation service. It's very noir. The art is just drenched in shadows. Good stuff, though.

yea i checked out the jewel character on the link you provided... interesting stuff... i might have to do some browsing!

kitteh, i saved 10k in under 2 weeks... it takes time and game playing and it might take a while, but you can do it!!
