I like woodstoves cause you know heat is going to come out of them ...
but my only problem is when the room gets too hot ...
then what do i do? Walk outside?

I have never had a wood stove, but I've smelled them before. Such a comforting smell!

Almost as comforting as apple pie.

i guess a stroll outside might cool you off... but when you get cold enough outside you can come back in and get all warmed up again

@ Linnea:. Apple pie is a pretty good choice. The staple of any Xmas dinner in my opinion.

Bah... I'd rather get physically burned than emotionally. Easier to treat burns to the skin.

i am a cherry pie kinda girl myself... but apple is a close second...

I always think of pie as being an autumn thing. Well, apple pie, anyway, and pumpkin. Blueberry pie is a summer treat, though!

Ohh, yeah, rhubarb pie! That's probably my favorite, actually. No strawberry involved, though, just rhubarb and my grandma's recipe.

@Spoon: Rhubarb leaves are poisonous, but you'd have to eat a lot of them to die from them. Really, though, stick with the stalks. The tasty, tasty stalks...
