My goal this summer was to write a book and actually finally get one published...it is not happening from how I see it. I won't be done with the book till mid Fall. :P I love writing so much...I just have a lot going on. Either that orI am just being lazy.

Alright. So Flashlight is about this girl named Novena. She's all ordinary...blah blah blah. But when she moves to the middle of nowhere just because her dad owns the small town, she awakens Drew Dark Heart (aka just Dark Heart but her father calls him Drew) and his goal is to take Novena's sole. Now, Novena's sole isn't just some ordinary sole. Somehow it's special. So special that Dark Heart has to fight for it. But on the way of Dark Heart trying to kill her and take her sole, Dark Heart and Novena fall madly in love. But Novena's best friend Charles is actually a Vampire, wanting to turn Novena to be his wife forever. But Dark Heart goes soft on Novena, saves her life, and finally tells her of his feelings.

There's an important part of the story. A necklace. A green pear-shaped magical necklace that I'm still not sure what powers it has. Novena finds it, takes it, and meets Dark Heart.
