The trip came to a grinding halt on Saturday when the tow bar broke and the car came partially loose and hit the RV.
Not much damage though, and the car didn't hit anybody else fortunately.
We had to cancel part of the trip as we sit here at my cousin's, and wait for parts to come in.
Fortunately, the makers of the tow bar agreed that it shouldn't have broken like that (a steel pin an inch thick just broke in two). They're sending a new tow bar and car base plate to us free of charge.
Hopefully we get it on Wednesday, and then we can continue up to Michigan. We're just north of Cincinnati right now.
My cousins took us to the National Air Force museum on Sunday. That was pretty cool. We got to go through the planes that were Air Force One for FDR, Truman, Eisenhauer, and Kennedy.

Just north of... Isn't that where the giant Jesus statue used to be? The one that got hit by lightning and burned recently? (Did you get to see the remains?)

They're going to build another one. It will be interesting to see what happens to it...we figure a tornado will take it away...
