i'm good linny how are you?
and yeah i think people are stupid for keeping them as pets in the first place but some of the stories were really bad. like this one lady got eaten by her tiger and her son was the one who found her partially eaten body. so gross and sad.

Did I mention that I found it odd that you guys have a place called Newtown up there!? :P Not overly odd, just... Funny.
Since my high school is called Marple Newtown, and resides in Newtown Square... Which is about a hop, skip, jump, and slight frolic from Broomall. :ninja:

Lol, same here! The names here are either bland or... Oddly semi-interesting. Like Swarthmore, Conshohocken, Bala Cynwyd... :insane:
Ooh! You better be a bad ass bartender by the time we meet again, Linn! :illgetu:

Bird in Hand? WHAAAT!?
Yeah! It's definitely Welsh! :P
Cynwyd is pronounced like "kinwood," at least here it is...
And Conshohocken. Man, an ugly one.
We have a lot of Welsh/Dutch places. :gonk: Can't think of many other examples at the moment...
There's also Punxsutawney, aka where the groundhog is kept. :D

NAUGATUCCCCCCK!
;)
I thought Waterbury was pretty darn weird. And wasn't there another Water- place nearby too? Waterville or Watertown or something? :P
Punxsutawney Phil doesn't compare to Gus, the second most famous groundhog in PA! :talk2hand:
He's basically our lottery mascot. :P Tons of fun commercials featuring him~ I showed some to Kitteh earlier today.

well it depends would you say the 'c' as an 's' or a 'k' cuz we say it as an 's' but i encountered a ton of northerners who said it with a 'k' and yes it's just like the cyrpus tree. we say both the same way.
we've got nagadoches... and then of course our mexican heritage with el paso san antonio, etc.

Watertown yes, is right nearby.
I don't know who gus is... obviously Phil is better. He has a movie about him ;)
I'd say it with an 's'
