I've been pretty bored too but I'm actually working on my art project right now. oh well!

in maine we would get snow up to our armpits and still have school... they are wimps i say!

Texas would melt down and the world would stop entirely. we'd close the entire state I swear if there was a foot of snow over the whole thing.

I don't know if any school has been cancelled here yet. But we're not really getting hit that hard. It's been a mild winter so far.

haha that's how it was in seattle when i lived there... people get so crazy when they aren't used to the snow... people going off the roads and hitting trees and telephone poles, and not to mention, other people... i am glad i left there just before winter set in for good... they also don't salt the roads there... they use sand, which is a bit helpful if icy but salt melts snow and ice ... i swear... none of those people would survive a winter in maine, or new hampshire actually...

@kat: oh and i going to texas on friday for the night... houston to be precise... never been there before... are you close? i was just wondering what to expect when i arrive....

my family is in houston!! what part? its a big city.

i'm not sure... i am basically getting off the airplane in houston... meeting up with the kids mom and dropping him off with her and then i am staying at a hotel close by... so wherever the airport is i guess... sorry, i am not much help am i? tee hee *giggles nervously*

well, there are too airports I think...Hobby? I think that's what its called. then you're staying in the city proper I guess. I live in the suburbs off of it.

its pretty cold. there's a cold front where I am. (not houston) really windy!! the sun is out though.

yes but, its colder than that. I bet its pretty humid in houston too.

bummer, man... humidity is the worst... that's how summers are in maine... i liked vegas... it was just straight up heat but you hardly sweat...

I'm so used the humidity that I don't notice it. I checked the weather and it says its 42 in houston. windchill of 43. too cold!

yea that is pretty chilly... but it's like in the 20's here... well at least it was this afternoon... im sure it's colder now since it has started snowing... i can handle 40 lol

yes, I have always lived here and no, I don't always like it, but I'd die pretty much anywhere else because I think tx is cold.
