Linna for your avatar if I may suggest, you could focus on black items with the purple pink highlights and attempt to work with those 3 colours. There's plenty of black anyway and it looked like you had some nice pinks and purples.

Yes I'd say the black is very important. It's the contrast of the pretty hues that where picked out.
