Yeargh... yeah, that's not so cool. So far I've been lucky to have my bad sense of smell. haha... the people in this country have never heard of soap.. or showers... O_o

Not sure why. I just don't smell a lot of things that smell "bad" for some reason. Like my nose just blocks it out. Things that smell good I can smell fine. Might have some kinda neurological issue in processing certain types of smells, like BO.. muahaha... lucky me. lol

They just don't know... there's water they just... it's weird. Like they never had soap and then when they come here and get soap to wash with they have an allergic reactions to it. Sucks. But they don't know any better. Especially here, where I am here, it's the country. Poorest part of Afghanistan I think. Who knows what they think... i mean. I was under the impression that they didn't like us American women because we are "the devil" cause we aren't muslims (most of us) and walk around in shorts and stuff. lol.. but apparently there's a few of them that might have a crush on me O_o and I might be engaged to a police officer.... Well, God knows what's in American commercial soap. :roll: I know I had trouble with a lot of it when I was younger and my skin wasn't used to it. (I still get eczema if I'm not careful.) Maybe they need organic stuff, the handmade kind niche craftspeople make out of things like goat milk and beeswax. And congrats on the possible engagement. XD

Sudafed is harder to get now that you have to sign for it and stuff.

yeah we don't have any cuz we typically don't medicate colds in my house just suffer through them. but i think i can bear through it... swine flu was definitely way worse, i wanted to die

OMG.. congrats!? No way... if you only knew. I think I'm gonna die... X_x it was a mission but I call them "field trips" and it was definitely the worst one ever. So we were supposed to go to this town, took us 3 hours to get there, then we couldn't cross the wadii so we drove around in circles for another hour, and my truck was getting stuck like every 5 mins. Then we were going back to the FOB and they broke a tie rod thingy in the truck. And then that crap with the police. No way.. I was like mixing up some gatoraide mix and offered it to them. They wouldn't drink it so I tried it first and showed them it was good. So one tried, then passed it to the other one (they both put their mouth on it X_X) then they passed it back to me to finish. OMG.. I couldn't think of anything else but backwash and herpese and syphillis.. omg omg.. so i didn't put it to my mouth then they were like noooooooooo put your mouth on it!!! (in their own language, made signs) so I was like.. wth.. i'm gonna die one day anyway, right???? :sweat: so i did. Then the dude like gave me a ring and put it on my ring finger. I was like no no.. haha... NO. And moved it to my middle finger. And he's like eah! (thumbs up) good! I was like :sweat:... thanks.. then he tried to give me a bright green silk scarf, tied it around my neck, I was like dude, ACU's only, sorry, then he tried to give me his beaded bracelet (i woulda took that. lol) but I was like I can't take all this. So then I had my camera, to change the subject and he wanted a pic with me. put his stunky arm around my neck and pulled me in his armpit, choking me out practically. Other guy took the pic.. then he was like "now look at me" he was so close, I glanced ovver.... AH!! Don't kis me!!! I didn't look at him, leaned away and smiled more, not cause i was happy, but because i was about to start stabbing them.. omg.. worst field trip EVER *is traumatized*
