Facade, that's the best song on that album! Which is mostly the sort of thing I'd expect to hear in doctors' waiting rooms. It's not bad, just... not quite as neat as Still I Can't Be Still. "I Feel Everything" is one of the exceptions.
yeah 2 Ibuprofen but at 8 so i cant take anymore till 12 but i cant stay up that late... i should have taken like 3... this is not cool pain at all... and to think i thought i was a masochist to a point... this is not cool... not cool at all
I don't listen to much of Idina's stuff... I Feel Everything is pretty much the extent of what I listen to of hers!
Anyway... I have my next YouTube song ready! :squee: HURRY UP, PEOPLE.
And Wings, if they did it in an original way, I'd highly recommend they use more of the book as reference. The book and musical are HUNDREDS of miles apart in terms of depth and beauty.
The book is more insightful, personal, romantic, beautiful. The musical is catchy, flashy, and all about the visuals.
I'd need more insight from a movie version. The flashiness of the musical would just be lame on-screen.
Yes, yes, be careful with those painkillers. I need damn near three times the normal amount (which barely work) for my migraines because I always need them so often, that I've built up an immunity for them. Sure, once in awhile wont hurt, though.
@Facade: I actually could not read the book after seeing the musical. It was much too dark for me.... I got like 40 pages in and after she bit off that poor ladies finger as a baby I was almost done with it and then I got a little bit farther to the whole bathing in milk thing but still, ugh! I liked how the muscical showed Elphaba as just misunderstood, in the book she was still actually evil. So I would just like pretty much the musical in movie form. In fact they could just do something like they did with Cats and I'd be happy.
@Sara: it's more of a size thing. smaller people need less... for the most part. Unless they have a resistance or have like migraines which are stronger pains.
Sara, as a general rule (and no offense to anyone), you don't take medical advice from people in an online forum. Following the directions on the Ibuprofin bottle might be your best bet?
oh well ill just ask mom.... to bad you cant mix stuff cuz i would take something else... i bet we have something stronger
well i feel i can take it from Lin since we are.... related....
She wasn't evil in the book.
If you read past the excerpt you read, you would see! :illgetu:
It's Oz that's a dark place, and NOT her.
...Of course, I read the book before seeing the musical. So perhaps your outlook is entirely changed because you saw the musical before you read the book!
I admire Gregory Maguire's work. I'm absolutely stoked for the fourth book; it's supposed to be about Glinda!
