Well, we're still doing our Hunger Games RP at school so It's kind of a fanfic... Tracker Jackers are wasp like creatures that induce horrible hallucinations and/or death (usually) :3

Roswell and the Tracker Jackers
Roswell turned around frantically to see if Leah was still following him, the District 8 seamstress had proved to be a deadly adversary in Melee combat and she had already gotten close to decapitating him using her twin daggers more than once; he could just see her blurry figure pelting after him through the summer heat. She was holding her signature blades and she appeared to be catching up. He shuddered and put all of his remaining energy into reaching the edge of the woods; if he managed to reach the tree line he had a chance, he could shake her off or find a strategic combat point. After a minute or so he reached the first tree and slowed down slightly, thinking of a strategy as he jogged through the twisting maze of trunks and branches. If he could just climb a tree and get her to run below him he might be able to launch an ambush… When he shook himself back to reality he realised he was completely lost, he could hear nothing except a light buzzing which he suspected was just the blood pumping through his ears but as he continued on it seemed to get louder. Within a couple of minutes he had stepped into a clearing with a single tree in the middle, it was huge and of a type he did not know of, surprising as he was from District 7; lumber. This thought was quickly wiped from his mind though as he noticed the plump fruit growing on the uppermost boughs, as he advanced towards the colossus tree the buzzing grew louder and louder but he ignored it and placed his foot in a convenient knot in the trunk and began to climb. When he reached the first fruit all he could hear was buzzing but he reached out anyway, as soon as his fingers brushed the soft skin of the mystery fruit the plump flesh fell away revealing a hive of tracker jackers, they began to sting and Roswell began to scream.

Oooh, nice. and sneaky fruit too.

I like it a lot Zea! Especially when he is writing off the buzzing as the blood thumping in his ears. Nice touch.
