A bit. I just finished one lengthy app, saw that connecticut schools want you to take a paraprofessional test (guh) to work at them, and I writing out a new cover letter and my resume for this really nice library a town away. I would LOVE to work there, even though it's part time and the pay isn't as great as I've seen it. BUT, close, I could get my foot wedged more firmly in the door, and I could leave my job now. So I am game.

Aaaah.... Public speaking pretty much? Fun. Well, i guess it's useful, cause you do a lot of presentations later on... Or at least I did a few for my seminars and junk.

Yah, they are mighty boring.. Plus it's redundant. It would be much better if they just met me cause I am pretty charismatic in public and stuff... But most of these just stop at the resumes... Even though mine is great, people have more experience since I have been in school :/

Lol. I got to skip out on that cause it was a required class in my first college for a BA or BS, but I got my associates and hightailed it to somewhere bigger. So I never actually took Public Speaking.... But I did enough theater that it's kinda the same really.

I know, I've been looking for...well, quite some time. I wish I was either still in school, or that I graduated a year earlier.

I can do all sorts of performing so long as it doesn't involve words! I'll play music or do colorguard, but speeches are the worst! its a required course though and there's no way I can get out of it.

yeah, i guess it is easy to be in school because you don't have to worry about jobs so much.

I loved doing monologues. But, I think the worst thing about one of the theater classes I took in college was doing a two person 1 act performance in the middle of finals week.. I pretty much memorized the night before, which was fantastic. It went really well, but yaaah, talk about stress.

I am pretty good with recitation and memorization. I've had to do so much of it. Tip: Memorize while doing something physical like walking for exercise... Muscle memory helps well...regular memory.
