wow, what kind of training do you need to do?

I'm alright, you? I'm reading a manga right now. I've already read this story though but I can't find anything better.

they are kind of lame... just things like training on how to deal with crises and how to help someone who has suicidal tendencies, how to administer medications, and blah blah blah... not that it's really lame, cause it is important, i have just done it a lot over the past few years... so it's kind of... overkill... or something

I'm just going through a series of oneshots right now. I should write my own oneshot.

i work with kids with behavior problems... i go to their houses and provide in home support... i work more one on one with the kid, may take him/her out in the community or play cards with them or a video games or something... i'm sort of like a mentor of sorts... i also help them work on their goals that their case mangers and clinicians set for them... so if like a kid has a hard time behaving out in public, i might eventually take them out in the community and help them learn what is appropriate behavior in public... or if i a kid doesn't like to take showers then i'd tell them that we can't go out into the community until they are showered, use that as a bit of leverage... and another one is if the kid has to learn how to manage money then we'd play a game that had money involved, like monopoly... other things like that
i didn't mean to ramble on, but the job is a little vague sometimes :sweat:

i guess we are supposed to help people in theory... i really hope that the end result is better then before i started to help... it's hard to say... some of the kids are so much worse off then lots of 'normal' kids... it's a rough job... and you aren't supposed to get attached either... which can get hard if you really like them, ya know?

yeah, my dad says that, but I don't have room on my desk for even a water bottle. its a total mess.
