I am in Oregon visiting my brother for who knows how long. Was in Seattle, got to travel around Cape Dissapointment (cooler than it sounds) and I will be going to Portland tomorrow. I want to see Mt St Helens soooo bad, we drove right by it.

we have a very nice lake called Devil's lake in WI where I grew up... there's another one called Mirror's Lake there, too... both are beautiful.

Devil's Lake was named thus because of the beliefs the white folk had regarding the Native's worshiping around the lake. At least, that's what I remember from what I was taught... I might be wrong :B

the only lake name I can remember right now is Lake Austin....in Austin.

haha, I know a number of lakes. But I don't like the ones around me...

I live in a deserty region right now.

When I have a house, I will require that I live near some form of body of water be it a lake a river or the ocean. It must be large enough for me to relax by it if it is a lake. And I'm not too sure about the river one. yeah. Scratch that. I lived near a river in NC and it was always flooding and when it did, all the hog farms way up river would take that as their excuse to dump all the hog waste into the water and blame it on the flood waters. So the water where I was at was always brown and nasty, even when it wasn't flooding. :/

ew ew gross water! and I don't like relaxing near water anyways unless its a hot tub. beaches are fine as long as the water doesn't touch past my ankles. oh and...

how's this puddle for some water to relax by?
