i memorize things with rhythm really well, but nothing else. so mostly song lyrics and poems for me.

Rhythm would help quite a bit with memorization...

We kids learned the alphabet in sign language because my parents used to sign stuff back and forth at Christmas time (just spelling things out, not "real" sign language). So we learned secretly so we would know what they were saying...

When I was in grade school, I read a book called "Follow my Leader", about a boy who became blind and got a leader dog. At that point I tried to teach myself braille. Do you know how hard it is to learn braille?

I know only the alphabet and a few other words and the pledge of allegiance.
I think braille would be very hard.

My fingers are just not sensitive enough to be able to differentiate between the letters. Those little raised dots are hard to feel...
