i used to sing all the time then i got mono and it mest with my vocals. go figute... every thing i have going for me gets taken away =/

aw, that's sad sunshine.

I can see where mono could do that.

I never hear about people getting mono anymore.
Way back when I was in college, it was THE disease.

I had it and was in the hospital for 11 days...

yea, i used to draw too, i havent in about a year since i cut open my hand. i also used the be the star runner in junior high and got injured >.> i keep thinking i find a nitch and it gwets taken>.> id like to do somethign well and be able to keep it for a change

i want to start drawing again so like i took a class and it was a disaster the professor was so not understanding . she only accepted what she wanted to see so... being i cant even properly hold a pencil and cant make a perfect peace she was failing me not caring about the disability and why i was there to relearn to deaw

That's totally the fault of the instructor.

I want to take some drawing classes, but I don't need somebody who wants to tell me what looks good all the time...

I've been lucky to usually have very understanding art teachers.
that teacher was just awful though, sunshine. you should teach yourself!

I grabbed all my late mother inlaws art books.
I'm going to get some watercolor pencils and just try my hand at it...

its good that way. you can go your own pace and just get a feel for the media!

huh. I guess I've just had a lot of good teachers in the past. I've absorbed a lot of their wisdom.

true. having gone through dozens of teachers and the different environments of each city I've gone to college in. I have books on drawing and places on the internet I look at too.

Now see...there's another idea.
I never think about going to the internet for inspiration.

the internet has everything. I have art links in my study lounge thread, but its mostly manga/anime stuff.

The only thing about the anime that interests me would be learning how to do the eyes...

the big shiny shojo eyes? I can't draw those.
I have a more realistic style of anime. I'm not too into the shojo stuff.

Are those the ones that have the bit of white in it...kinda like a reflection?
Maybe shiny is the right word....
