I was actually just thinking of, well...not resolutions....but just thinks I wanted to do to improve upon myself. I feel like everytime I try and do a new years resolution, I never follow through, so I don't make them any more. ;) But I have a goal in mind I wanna do before my birthday.

Right? I hate letting myself down.....So I lowered my standards. Hehe. It's horrible, but it works for me. Whenever I made a resolution I didn't keep, I was uber bummed.

Awesome plans? Weekend? Lol. Not really. I might see friends if it doesn't snow on Saturday....but I can't get too far cause I need to fix my car >__<

I'm planing on going out with some friends tomorrow night and going to my brothers indoor soccer game Saturday night. Other than that I'll probably just hang with friends and play video games. (because I'm totally a nerd like that! haha) I hope it doesn't snow! its going to be in the single digits though, which really sucks! And I swear car problems are the starting wave to this years problems! I was in a minor car accident not too long ago and don't have a car myself right now. Which is driving me insane!

Ooooh, gotta be careful!! One of my friends just totaled his car. Very much his fault, but still. Kid was lucky to walk away from it.

And your weekend sounds a lot more fun than mine. I have to work Sunday >.> So there goes that day. If it snows, I might just spend the whole day crafting/ being artsy.

so i lost the internets last night soon after i posted in here :stare:

but yea, back to the new year's resolutions... i usually make it something like losing weight or working out and i never follow through... soooo this year i decided i'd try to better myself mentally by learning japanese and learning to ice skate, which is also a more physical thing... and so far so good :) i'm on my way that's for sure and it makes me excited to learn something new that i always wanted but just never got around to doing
the only other resolution i made was to get a bartending job and actually use my license, which might be possible when i move back to the city, but not now since i just picked up another job... baby steps i suppose

I would think Japanese would be exremely hard to learn.

Are you taking a class? Or just trying to learn it through a book.

Tie skates on feet...get on ice...clean ice with fanny.

I really want to learn japanese. I've tried before, but I learned nothing. I just love my manga and jrock though...especially the jrock.

I used to be pretty good at ice skating. I have such great balance. I spent the last 2 and a half hours of class standing on a stool and never once feel though it was derpy so I'd say I don't fall easily.

oh wow, i am jealous that you both know how to ice skate! i'm learning but i look very.. derpy, as kat said :P lol

and i have the rosetta stone program so i hope it works... it uses a total immersion technique so you have to really pay attention and i often miss things but you can go back and go over... it's kind of fun

that sounds good. I hear its a great way to learn, but that rosetta stone is expensive. probably because it works.

yea i know i have to, i just need to do it more... although i am getting the hang of it and i only fall down when i try to do something i know i can't do, like a fancy stop or a quick turn lol in due time :roll:

i also heard that it's a great way to learn languages and lucky enough i didn't have to buy it, i sort of got it from a friend who was nice enough to give me access :yes:
