You just made me want to watch the Daily Show.. when Jon Stewart says, "Are you not entertained!?" I can picture you yelling out a very loud, "No I'm not!"

We had a few places where there were some nicks in the granite.
He came and smoothed them out for the most part.

I was really really picky, and he tried to fix it all.
Some of it still feels a bit rough on the sides, and I know that's just because of the type of granite we picked out, so I think he did a pretty good job overall.

We said we were happy, and now they're done.

Now comes the hard part...the two of us agreeing on what tiles to use for our decorative line through the backsplash.

We went to the tile store again, and brought back about 10 different samples. We've narrowed it down to 3, but neither of us is thrilled with any of them.
I think we both know what we want, but just can't find it.

Well, the new CI is out, and it's supposed to be double gold day whenever a CI comes out.

lol...the granite guy came to fix up a few things, and we were talking about the backsplash and how hard it was to find something we both like.

He turned to my hubby and said "You may as well just give in now...you know you will eventually anyway!"

They were a day late...but it just came out an hour ago or so.

Yea, hubby says that the tile installer (him) is having arguments with the designer (me).

In that case it's always the designer who wins, right?

I was just thinking of finding a snack as well.

I ate some almonds and a couple of fig bars.

That seems pretty healthy!

I would think any fruit would be OK...
