Ive only been to Estes Park and the Rocky Mt National Park aaaaaand Denver in Colorado.

my family drove to colorado one summer and went to a bunch of tourist places there. I want to go back to Royal gorge. they put a zip line in that goes over the canyon.

Pikes Peak Rock shop imports most of their stuff from Brazil.

But I do have a bunch of Pikes Peak granite that we picked up from the side of the road as we were driving by Pikes Peak one year.
I put it in my carry on...lol...when I was going through security, the guy said...:What do you have in there, rocks?" I said Yup.

I have a beautiful piece of rhodochrosite that I found at a gem show.

Yes, I've mined a bit. I used to belong to a geology club as well. I have quartz, talc, tons of garnets (CT's state mineral), kyanite....and various other things :) that's just from Connecticut. I also have a ton of herkimer diamonds because my friend's uncle has a plot in New York.
I totally have a hard hat and chisel!
Also, that's awesome. Totally sounds like that would be me with a car full of rocks.

I have some beautiful pieces of green garnet.

We were at the Royal Gorge a couple of years ago, Kat.
I was in awe of all the little stone walls they had all around...they were made out of pink quartz! TONS of pink quartz!

I wanted to tear them down and take some of it home...
smuggle it out in my car...

I haven't been to royal gorge in so many years, I don't remember anything except really liking it.

Uh that gorge sounds awesome! :) I love quartz. I know it's everywhere, but I love how different it is. :) I'd love to go there one day! I have a friend who lives in Grand Junction, and that is super uber canyon town. I'd love to explore Colorado more :D

Alright guys, I had a rough weekend/week/bleh. I am gonna either chill out with a book or take a bubble bath. Hrmmm, choices.

I'm almost done with the drawing, but I won't upload it until the semester is over and I'm home. I prefer to scan art in. I just uploaded a few pics the other day on DA though.

no one plays words with friends with me anymore... my step mom says i've gotten better at it and no one likes to play with a now-it-all lol

i sleep when I'm bored.

when i'm exhausted bored i sleep... when i'm really bored i play facebook games and things... and when i'm just regular bored i read... lots of things have varying layers lol
