I don't know. at first I was using what they gave me at the place I got my ears pierced. Actually, after I started using rubbing alcohol, my infection cleared up.
I have a friend who is allergic to silver so she has to be careful about what earrings she gets.

I've tried all kinds...

Surgical steel, Stainless steel, silver, titanium, plastic, even gold plated...they all made my ears get infected.
The only thing that works OK is gold.

yes, that would be a rather good reason. I just set my alarm really late and didn't wake up till it went off. I can sleep for a very long time.
