How many classes are on Tuesday?
Yes! I love feather earrings. You need crimps for those, eh?

three. basically class straight from 9:15-5:15. two fifteen minute breaks.
or super glue. I own no proper tools, though I have used crimps before and their super nifty.

Ooooh super glue works, but it's messy.
That's nice to get them all over with :D I loved it when I had my classes over and done with. But.....till 5? Daaaang. Is one a three hour?
And what are you taking this semester?

no it's not. you just squeeze out a little dot and it works perfectly.
they're all long classes. um, two hour, one and half, whatever's left. that's how it goes. I don't know why you'd like to get them over with. I like when my classes only meet once a week and I have time to eat lunch.
I'm taking beginning poetry, intermediate fiction, junior studio (a writing and art fusion), and sophomore painting studio.

I like it when one or two of my classes meet once a week. Cause sometimes they really load on the work....My senior seminar only met once a week and we had to read generally, one or two books before each meeting >.< on top of the extra work seminars give you.
Those all seem like fun, Kat classes. :D A lot of work though. Painting and writing is always a lot of work.

I don't really find myself overworked. I think only my junior studio will be hard. since next monday is a holiday and there's no class, the teacher assigned us a shit ton of work. one of (just one) of the articles we're supposed to read is about 30 pages long. there's another article too and a three part project we need to complete. I haven't started any of it yet.
I'm hoping they will be fun, I know my painting studio will be good because of the teacher. I had him last semester for me art on the wall class and he's laid back and fun. he really lets you do what you want with the project.

Aaah yah. I keep forgetting it's Labor Day weekend. :D
I am going to a wedding Sunday in Philly (loooong drive, but eh. I love the goobers who are getting hitched) and Saturday I think my mum is having a picnic here. Monday, I am bringing two friends back to CT from the wedding, (who came from Seattle and are going to visit their family) and we might do some museum hopping at Yale....if they are open on Labor Day.
Sorry, the holiday made me go on a tangent. I think the junior studio sounds kinda awesome. How does it incorporate art and writing? I had a nature journal class that did....but this one is intriguing .

yep, that's it.
ooh, weddings are always nice. picnics are great too.
tangents are fine. i like listening to them. there are three sections. the one we're working with now is documentary. since this is an art class really. we're mostly just talking about how writing aids art like artists who incorporate text. and like...using writing to explain art. it's not interesting because we talked about hings along these lines in a class I had last semester and hated. I think later we might be doing some more creative stuff.

<.< I love weddings. It's kinda sad how much I love them. I'm driving down the day of and sharing a hotel room with one of my besties from high school and his partner. <3
Aaaaaah. I guess if you get over the first section, the rest might be more worthwhile. :D Also, yah. How drab is it when you need a huge explanation on a piece of art.....just let the people interpret it. And if they can't well....that's some modern art for yah.

sounds fun. and what's sad about loving weddings so much?
I hope so. I just wish it were more of a studio class than a discussion class. I don't want to sit in class for two hours just talking. bleh.
totally. I know I like artist statements when the artist has something very specific they want to say about their art or just like...knowing the background of the artist, but I don't like huge blocks of text about the art. I hate writing them too. there is no secret meaning in my art. not really. I draw what I think is pretty. I'm a dying breed of artists doing art for the sake of art.

Clock just rents a room in a house,
and people are moving out and some are moving in,
and Clock doesn't like being around a lot of people.
it makes her nervous.

I see. doesn't seem like the best sort of living arrangement for someone who doesn't like to be around others so much.
