I am feeling derp. I have sunburn all over my arms, chest, and face. I forgot I can get crispy even when it's autumn >.<

Ooo...crispy critters....

I wear sunscreen all year round.

I never wear sunscreen. I don't burn much though.

I don't want to get leather skin.

what's that mean?

<.< I think I need to start doing that. I am too pale for the sun. Such a sensitive Woody!

But, event! *rushes around* How exciting! I've been waiting for this for a while. Everyone on mene senses it, and they come swarming back online :D

Gals who lay out and get suntans all the time develop leather skin when they get older...

Your skin gets all tough and weird-looking.

Yaaaah. I'm not game for that. Besides, I lay out to get a suntan, and I get sunburnt.

And if it fades, and looks all nice and tan for one shining moment......then it peels like nobodies business and I am pale once more

I never tan on purpose. I don't tan much anyway.

Yah. I prefer the healthy pale look. Shows how much I stay indoors :D

Nah, not true. I'm always outside. But, I'm out in the afternoons and evenings, past sunburn peak.

It sucks to get old....

I wish I were outside more, but there's nothing to do out there.
I prefer how a look slightly tan.

A slight tan seem to say "healthy"...at least it used to.

But as the sun gets hotter, I think we're swinging back to the pale skin seeming healthier.

We live in the woods, right near a few nice hiking spots. Not too far from where the Appalachian Trail is in my state too. So, I try to go somewhere different every time I go for a hike.

With age comes more wisdom! Gotta love that.

I can only walk around the neighborhood...

I stick to campus and occasionally walking to hobby lobby or the store.

I wish I had stores that were within walking distance.
It would be much better to walk to a store.

it's not. even if the store is close, it's deceptive when you walk it...especially on the way back with full hands. and you can only buy a couple bags worth because that's all you can easily carry.

Yaaaah. I live in the middle of nowhere. No stores here for me to walk to either. Though, that would get dangerous. Living with my brother, and then with my sister in law when I was visiting the NW, I would go to the co-op like....twice a day, check out the comic book store, be in one of the million coffee shops. AND, it was worse in Portland. I justified walking 40 minutes down to the waterfront cause it meant Voodoo Doughnuts. :3

Well, a grocery store would be hard...
But other kinds of stores would be OK.

Then it would help limit me to keep me from buying too much.

yeah, it's a ten minute walk to the grocery store. I wouldn't justify walking more than that.

I wish I could buy more. I want eggs.
