lol...in most cases we stop listening to them BEFORE we move out!

Except my Mom...I ALWAYS listened to my Mom.

it's even easier to no listen when you're not in the same house.

I'm not really close with anyone in my family. not really.

Well, my parents are gone now.

I'm closest to my sister.

I wish I had a sister sometimes. I just have two brothers.

She and I are so close.

That's why I'm so worried about her now...

which is of course understandable.

Some day we'll be able to just do a shopping trip and have fun like we used to.
I'm hoping, anyway...

But she did tell me that they are still planning on coming to Texas Motorspeedway for the race in November.

So I hope they don't change their minds.

I think eventually things will be as close to the way they were as can be.

Yeah...it's the story of my life.

First I had my brother, who was always taking stuff apart.

Now my hubby who also takes stuff apart.

lol. all those poor things that got taken apart.

When I was a kid, I had this great clock.
It had a horse jumping a fence on it...it actually moved, and was backlit.

My brother took it apart cuz he wanted to see how it moved.
It never worked again.

aw, how sad! XD
I had an alarm clock with pictures of girls at a slumber party behind the clock face. I actually never used it, but it was cute so I kept it around.
