Well it's about... I'm not really sure. She gets covered in blood. I guess people in school pick on her cause she's weird then she goes nuts and gets these powers to burn stuff and move things... then everyone dies I guess... I've never actually seen it.
It's a good movie, and book.......and they're pretty much the same thing since the book was small enough to be made into a movie.

She's the outcast in high school, and is really naive about certain things thanks to her cray cray uber religious mom. Well, she's picked on through out the movie, blah de blah.....A few of the students picking on her get caught and kicked outta prom. So, one does a nice thing and convinces her boyfriend (the hunky school jock) to ask Carrie to the prom, to make up for every thing. The others plot revenge on her...and well......that sorts results in Carrie's latent telekinetic powers (hinted at when she gets mad once or twice in the movie) to explode......
