William Morris was an artist who did woodcuttings, printings, illuminated manuscripts, etc, in the late 1800s

It was. And I had to paint over it cause it kept smudging. It's too cold in her for the paint to dry fast :(

since when does the cold make paint dry slower??

......it generally does. Air temperature and humidity, etc...all effect it. I mean, it doesn't help that the pumpkin was freezing too cause it was outside

yea that's why i'm waiting... you should never paint anything when it's cold... it doesn't stick so well

what kind of paint are you using? I know humidity makes a huge difference with water based paints, but how is it hard to paint a freezing pumpkin?

it's the same when painting a car or a wall... it can't be cold

Acrylics. Just crafting paint. Anything is hard in extreme heat or cold. It's cold in here and it was freezing outside. This pumpkin was half buried in snow. It's all good. I got a base coat of the black gloss on it and it looks awesome. It's just still tacky and stupid.

also if you paint it and then it thaws out it will have condensation and mess it up
