When I was a kid, we found Petey, our parakeet dead on the bottom of the cage.
Mom picked him up and poured some whiskey in his mouth.
He came alive and lived for at least another year I think.

thanksgiving was alright. family was great, travel was a bitch, my cousin in laws deep fried turkey was tasty. pie was in plenitude.

It is nice....I get to see things I still have from like, Middle School....which, I thought I got rid of AGES ago. But I found one skirt that I had from 8th grade. Daaang. It's going in the donate pile, finally.

I'm taking a break though, cause it's freezing in here! So I snuggled under my blankets.

Nice! People actually do deep fried turkey? I've never seen it done before in person. My brother did our turkey, and he put it in a brine for 6 days, so it was super moist... I made stuffing, sweet potatoes, and pecan pie. I burnt myself making the pie though...that'll leave a mark >.<
