I just made and gave one to my friend! He loved it and went about modelling it in different ways all evening. I felt he needed a nice homemade one, since someone else gave him one and he said it looked like a sad cobbled together Christmas potholder.

A smurf Christmas elf?

i'm tiiiired but i have so much to do!

we had a water main break in the city here today and they have had like a city wide 'boil water order' but it seems i am on the other side of it so it doesn't effect me, thank goodness, but i worried about it all day at work and at the hockey game... which we woooon!! ya!
i need to decorate my little christmas tree, hang the curtain rods in the living room and my bedroom and then hang the curtains, hang the christmas lights in the living room, and make more of my little treats for xmas... phew

I decorated my little Christmas tree. It's 2 feet tall...fiber.
I put some silver bows on it and called it done.

Then I put some small ornies on my fake ficus tree in the kitchen.
Everybody always just sits in the kitchen anyways, so I figured I should have some decorations in there!

yea it was nice though, kat... but i think mostly cause i looked forward to hockey all day
last night i made homemade pumpkin whoopie pies with cream cheese frosting filling and these neat little things i don't know what they are called, but you sandwich a rolo in between two square waffle pretzels... everyone loves em and i ran out of rolos last night so i bought more after the game to make tonight

I spent all of 3 hours decorating today.
I put a Santa hat on my dragon, the Marshmallow tree on one speaker and a nativity scene on the other, put together my ancient angel chimes (that thing is older than I am!).

Um....Oh yea, I put a few large bows on the stair rail.

Isn't that enough?
At least I made the cheese balls and the chocolate covered peanuts.
That's all that anybody really cares about!

what is this with the rolos? I love rolos, but I'm having a hard time imagining that dessert.
