what's really interesting is only kinda sorta watching someone paint in the studio. especially the people who layer a lot and every five minutes you look over, it's almost a new painting. there was a guy like that in one of my classes.

I'm off too. good night, linn.

There was this guy on TV years ago who painted landscapes.

He made it look so easy.

Happy little trees...

That could be.
I don't remember his name.

He'd just go *splat* and there was a group of trees!

look up william kentridge. he's amazing and the videos he makes. I've watched an interview with him and he's a cool guy with a unique video/drawing art style. he draws out comics or other animated type videos, but he does it on wall sized paper with charcoal and just draws and erases as he goes without that much planning beforehand.

Nice!! I don't think I've heard of him before.I'll have to look him up. I used to work for a mural artist when I was in middle school. I did screen printing and packaging for his prints and small scale artwork.

My friend's brother does art videos on occasion too, when he's doing digital art. I think he's working on conceptual art now for a game. I'll have to look and see if I can find a video of his.

Right? His stuff always impressed me. His mom had him make a reaaaally cute bashful gnome for me for Christmas a few years ago, and I have it hanging in my house. :3

We aren't doing anything.

I was thinking I'd touch up my hair color and take a shower in the morning.

We're going to have leftover prime rib for supper tomorrow.

It will just be a quiet day.

I love roasted ham.
The good stuff...not that compressed junk.

That watery compressed stuff isn't like "real" ham to me.

I love the salty, smoked kind.
Just a hunk of that on a buttered roll.... yum!

I like the fake processed turkey lunch meat better, but the ham is fine. I really don't like real turkey though.

never had it smoked and salty.

Most ham roasts are pretty salty.
It's the way the ham is cured.

Otherwise it's just pork.
