Yeah, but you should get a statement from the brokerage. Usually anyway. And it says... But they are annoying. Especially if you lose then there is more paperwork for that.

True. True.

Unfortunately, our brokerage sends us a form, and then later sends us an amended form....

We never have everything until right before taxes are due...

That's why I don't do the taxes.

Once hubby had already sent the taxes in.
He decided to just keep the amended form and wait and see if the IRS came back to us...

Too much work to put in an amended tax form.

It's too stressful. I don't think I'd like that. I don't like the way that the IRS operates either. They told us, that if someone sells stocks and they don't remember when they bought them and the paper doesn't say, that we should make is short term so that they have to pay more taxes on it =.= So evil.

Yeah. I definitely would. Seeing how the IRS operates and all the news of the greedy people in the government just irritates me. better to do your taxes yourself sometimes.

If anything were to happen to him, I'd be toast.
I don't know how to do ANY of that stuff.

He pays all the bills online and stuff. I don't even know how to do that.

He wrote me a guide for if anything happens to him, and put it in our safety deposit box.

Yeah...so the only thing I have to remember is where the key to the safety deposit box is...

He has insane passwords on his machine, and all kinds of encrypted files.
He doesn't trust anybody.

is that going to be a problem? xD

I see. that's why sometimes people are now having an internet section in their will to spell out all that stuff.

Yup.
He doesn't put it in the will...it's a separate document.

...and it's a HUGE document. Something like 15 pages.

I'm good.

I just called hubby's hand doctor (from when he sliced off his fingertip) to make an appt about my arthritis in my heel of my hand.

The doc said that they're having problems with Aetna, and that they still haven't been able to get paid by our insurance company. So I can't make the appt until they get it straightened out.

Ouuuuch to the finger...even if it was a while ago, and that's stupid. I hate how things can become all muddled up thanks to insurance companies. But then again just going to the doctor with no coverage is not so good. I had to shell out all out of pocket. >.< And I will again when I go and get new glasses/ contacts

I don't know what they're going to do...
When hubby started going to him, they said they had Aetna, and Aetna also said he was covered...so I don't know who's liable for the bill.

They haven't tried billing us yet.

Well, then that sounds good. If they do try, you could fight that easily with the insurance company and the clinic....since you were still covered then.

That's true.
We were told that we were covered, so in my mind, WE aren't liable...
