I just finished The Sun Also Rises by Hemingway.

Oh gosh.. was that interesting? >.> I've never read Hemingway but I just get this feeling that his writing would be stale.

I hate Hemingway. He's one of my least favorite writers. This is about the fourth thing I've read of his.

His works are all famous and classics... i wonder if that's just because they were original back in that day and maybe there weren't so many people who took the time to write.. then again... Hemingway... Ernest... he only died like 50 years ago...

he's one of the biggest names in modernist literature. I just don't like modernist writing much at all. Hemingway for sure doesn't even seem modern anymore, but of course he was very modern and original at the time he was writing. He was one of the first to use the hard-boiled terse writing style.
