Yeah, it would be tough to have to take the bus or something.
Maybe after the semester starts there would be some openings...

lol...so then they shouldn't have a problem getting you a place.

I guess you have to just wait and see when the online site comes back.

I imagine this is making you pretty tense right now...

I'm really pissed. the student portal doesn't work a lot, but it's where important things like your transcripts, grades, registration, and such is.

That's too bad.
You'd think the university would fix that.

they're more concerned with landscaping. that's what all the money is going into. which is fine because this place is a pile of dirt. now there's some grass and dessert plants and rocks that don't look they just blew in. but there are a lot of other things that they really need more (like more students to pay for it? xD).

Do they think that they're classed as an "elite" university?
In that case they probably don't want tons of students.

this school has absolutely no reputation except with a few people. most people don't even know it exists. I mean, it only changed its name and became an art school three years ago. and by needing more students, I mean there's less than 800 here and almost no inflow of new students.

That's really too bad.

I think of Santa Fe as being an "artsy" place though...

this is a very artsy place. people from afar don't think that though. only those of us in the southwest or the art world seem to think that.

I've only been to Santa Fe once.

I thought it was a pretty place. Kinda dusty-looking, but pretty anyway.

its very pretty to fly into abq. the landscape is lovely. there's not much around here except galleries though. there's not much for youth here.

I can't imagine living in New York.

The only thing I'd like about it is not having to get in a car to go places.

My dad says I need to live there because I hate driving sososo much, but I don't like New York either. Santa Fe ain't bad though because there's at least a bus system and it's small enough that a lot of places are within walking distance.

San Francisco would be interesting.
They've got that trolly system that seems to work pretty well.

I would think that living in New York would be more expensive than SF.

probably not. san fransciso is supposed to be one of the most expensive places to live in the states.

I prefer night classes to morning classes.

Well, mostly painting or sculpture.

But I'd be interested in some literature courses too....
Jane Austen, of course.
