The only art classes are evening ones on the other end of town.

I don't see well at night, so I can't drive to them.

Buses don't run in our neighborhood.

They aren't dependable either.

I see. maybe you just need to befriend someone who will carpool with you and take the classes as well. it's possible you could drive to the class once, then make friends with someone and them mooch rides off of them.

There aren't many retired people in our neighborhood.
We live south of Austin...it's more family-oriented right now.

Nope. Not ones that I'd be interested in.

You never know though...some history classes could be good if you had a good enough teacher.

they're not basic classes though. they're not even going to help him at all with his degree.
I love history classes that aren't text-centric.

I don't think history teachers really KNOW how to teach history.

I've gotten more information in an intelligible, "fun" was from docu-dramas than from history books or history teachers.

Usually they just drone on...

I don't think I've really taken many history classes, but it's different if it's like history of rock and roll (wingsy took and loved that class) or history of texas.

Busy!!!! :/ I was in charge of my sister's baby shower so it stole my life for a few months cause I was making everything. It just happened the other week. DONE lol

baby showers are that much effort? normally their pretty quick affairs from what I've seen.

I'm alright. trying to be productive with school and life...and failing.

Yah. I made everything myself. And I go over the top with parties, so I made all the banners out of fabric, burlap and paper, I made candy dishes, made small mushrooms, etc etc. I made the favors. I wanted it to be unique. It was a woodland theme with lots of live moss, stones, wood, and ferns.

people decorate? I've never seen more than a few cursory decorations before.
