Yeah, there's a "random" link next to "submit" at the top of the page. I guess I could look at these in order, though. XD
I really do like this one...

I mostly just love that this is a direct response to Lolcats. And that I can read and participate in the comments sections. I sure can't do that at icanhascheezburger...

Oh, I like the kitties, too! But in a choice between lolspeak and English, I'll choose English. Because lolspeak makes my brain hurt after a short while.

Some of the lol stuff is stupid, yeah. But funny. This is just funny in a different way.
Crap, I have to be careful, or language patterns will carry over...

No, I mean... Trying to keep a clipped, dry tone while commenting at the Average Cats site means I run the risk of using the same tone while posting here, and I don't really want to do that.

Okay, this thread is great. You shouldn't take it seriously, but the tone and the humor is there. :)
I haven't gotten to the geese, yet.

I tend to gravitate toward your garden-variety domestic shorthair. :)

Cats in general are athletic and long-lived, if you take good care of them. :)
Aww, that's a cute one.
Ohh geez! So true...

yes indeed. siamese are known for living on average to 20 though. you can have them for a good portion of your life
and this is why we don't wash our cats

That is a long time, even for a cat!
Yeah, I would not want to give a cat a bath.

My domestic shorthair is about 15, and still in good health. Well, physical health, aside from the fact that she's basically deaf now. Mentally, she's also going a little senile. But still, I think she has some years ahead of her.
She gets rain. My mom's cat, who won't go outside, doesn't.

I think my mom's cat is... maybe 5? I've lost track. She's still youthful, anyway, and will play with just about anything. She's also bad at retracting her claws, so she sounds like velcro if she's dashing across the carpet. XD
Mine likes to stay out of the rain, too, but she's more likely to get caught in it since she does go outside.

Even my old cat likes to play sometimes. It might be part of the whole senility thing, I don't know, but once in a while, if I'm pulling a string for mom's cat, mine wants to get in on the game. Not usually, though.
