My snake wants to eat that cookie in your hand, Faux! That's why! And I don't blame it.
Hmph! I was in the midst of watching Fatal Attraction online, but then it died while buffering, so now I must wait for it to load to the part I last saw on some other site. :gonk:
WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO!? -sulks-

I've been meaning to watch it for some time, and well... Seeing Glenn Close and Michael Douglas interview each other on Oprah's "Oscar Special" thingy the other night... It reminded me to see it! o:
Speaking of the Oscars... I can't wait for them tomorrow night! :gonk: It's gonna be epic!

Oscars... Yeah, I think I'm going to skip watching them. I watched a bit of American Idol this week (it was bad), but that has been it for television watching.
Eww, my clouds are raining and it's slimy!

Yuck, American Idol is crap! :gonk:
I love Ellen, but I haven't seen American Idol since Carrie Underwood was on it... And that's when it was at least half-decent! :talk2hand:
I'm stoked for the Oscars... I'm a major movie-goer, so I've seen a good chunk of the movies! ... Although surprisingly, I have yet to see Avatar... But I might see it tonight!

Yeah, it was, Facade. I only watched a few singers, but spent much of that time cringing. Ellen is now the show's only redeeming quality, and even that is not enough.
I am not a huge moviegoer, so maybe that's part of my problem. :)

I got to see Avatar after I got out of the hospital! In 3D! My man took me. <3 I love sneaking candy in...

LOL Faux!
There's a dollar store nearby me that sells the movie-portion candy for $1 each... So when I have time beforehand, I'll always buy that before going!
My mom has also taken to microwaving popcorn beforehand, adding butter and salt, and just bringing it along from time-to-time. D: I normally go to the movies with my mom... >w> Or my aunt. I prefer to hang out with the older biddies, because people my age are just overrated... -sulks-
Blargh. The movies can become uber expensive if you don't sneak stuff in at least from time-to-time! I mean, seriously? $20 for a pair of tickets, then add popcorn, candy, and drinks to the mix, and it's a $40 night at LEAST!

Woah, $20 for tickets? oO I thought $14 for a pair was getting up there. I have not, however, snuck snacks into the movies, so I guess that makes up for it. :ninja:

Yeah, it's $21 for a pair of tickets where I am. :(
Pretty crappy; one of those $25 movie gift certificates gets me CRAP, if you want to be realistic. But I still use them whenever I get them, nonetheless.

Dollar candy! *double drool*
I don't get to go to movies a lot lately because *gah* Time! Money! *upsetness ensues* When you said you like going with older biddies - all I saw was Facade going to the movies with the Golden Girls.

Yikes. Yeah, and the $14 for a pair is for the snazzy and still relatively new theater with the stadium-style seating in the back. The nice theater. ... I guess it's good that most of the movies I watch are on DVD...

@Cica: Lol! Yeah, both the dives and the higher-end theaters 'round here charge $21... And the higher-end ones are farther away and in less convenient locations, too! :gonk: It's just a fail-fail situation...
@Faux:  You know me too well! I'd go to the movies with the Golden Girls any day... :gonk: Even if we have to lug them around in their coffins!
And I'll go to the movies one day with you if you'd like! ;D I'll pay! C: ... Just fly to Philly. >w> Or um, pay my way to Chicago. <w<;

@Facade: I'm pretty sure the closest dive is much cheaper, and it's equally convenient to go to the high-end one. Less sticky, too.

Gah, I hate sticky floors! :gonk:
I've always wanted to work at the movies, but at the same time, I know I'd end up hating it... And wanting to shoot myself.
Movie theaters are just those sorts of places where the customers are in a hurry, impatient, and just downright rude and inconsiderate.
Plus, they're lazy slobs times a thousand. :gonk:

I guess I've never noticed the rudeness. Then again, I don't spend much time in movie theater lobbies, nor have I ever worked in a movie theater.
