I still don't even know what happened with mine, so I know that feeling. Everything was generally fine, minus a few things swirling about in my mind, but I never expressed it to him. Then one night, over IM he said he can't do it anymore, and since I have NEVER spoken with him again.

Thats oddly part of what she sent me "I can't do this. It's too painful to love you. I'm sorry. Good-bye" That was the entirety of what she wrote me about why she was breaking up with me..

Agreed. Considering we talked on the phone for at least 3 hours a day. Actually, we were on the phone, he randomly hung up, and three hours later he got on IM and did that. It was a somewhat half-long distance thing, but I had just been out there, paid for the flight and everything, two weeks before.

She and I used to talk for 6-12 hours a day on the phone...she'd always end up falling asleep on the phone with me because my voice calmed her and she enjoyed listening.

that's a long time to be on the phone with some one... i don't think i have ever spoken on the phone with someone even half as long as that

Part of what I hate about this situation is that I can't stop myself from feeling guilty as if everything that happened between her and I was all my fault. We never could run out of things to talk about...whether it was intellectual topics...or random spurts of what one of her cats did...or something she remembered from her day. I thought I knew her...but it seems that I knew only what she wanted..

Imagination that is really a hard spot to be in. I know it is hard for you I want to say tow things.

Let me say this, First thing you should do is give it to God and ask him what to do.. You may not get an answer right away just give it up to him and let him carry your burdens. I know it is a lot harder said then done but it helps whe you can do it 100%

If you two are meant to be it will work out. He is going to be gone fourteen months and they have only been together two weeks.. That will be super hard for her. As long as she doesn't marry him you may still have a chance. Howevr do not let her toy with your heart you are worth more then that.. If waiting it out and being her friend is to much then I suggest you cut ties 100%

I don't blame my relationship going bad, though. I understand it. See, we fought, mostly because he didn't get me. I'm surprisingly a nice person, and I don't usually break up with people, and I would have stayed with him forever pretty much, more so for him than me. If it was meant to work, it would, and will.

He broke up with her today when he found out that she had ignored his texts and calls the entire time she was talking to me...so shes now single...and I'm conflicted because I know that I still really care for her deeply...and would kill for another honest chance with her...even though every other fiber of my being is telling me no..this isnt worth the torture its causing you...

sometimes you just have to go with instinct... that's why we have them after all

Imagination: If your instincts are telling you to not be with her, then maybe you should listen to them. That's probably the best thing you can do, to prevent getting hurt even more.

Imagination, it's what you feel is right. If you can take it, and really think you have a chance, go for it. Life is about chances, after all And tell yourself, if it doesn't work, then that's it. End all after-wards. Depends on what you're willing to put yourself through, and if you believe SHE is worth the trouble.

I almost always listen to my instincts...but at the same time my philosophy on life is that everything happens for a reason. I just find today has going down too perfect...becuase not only did I talk to her...I got the closure I had been so desperately waiting for...and she went from being taken to single...and we're back to talking for hours on end...like old times...I'm just deathly afraid of a repeat heartbreak...because the first one about did me in...in more ways then one...but at the same time because I don't know what exactly this is...a chance...a blessing...a curse...or maybe just a simple game to her...I'm afraid to see where this takes her and I...but even more afraid of walking away. Its a lose lose situation...but I can't make my feet move in either direction...:(
