Life had always passed him by, like he wasn't good enough to be part of it. He had always dreamed of being something more than what he had been made for, but it didn't seem possible for him. After all, he was incredibly short; if people even looked at him, they always, always, ALWAYS looked down on him. It was a hard life, having to look up at everyone, being worried about being stepped in...that's right. Stepped in.
It was a hard life, being a puddle. And being a magical talking puddle was even worse! People stepped in your face and scattered your picture, but at the same time they stepped on your body. On top of that, it was just a cruel and unusual punishment; he had dreams and goals that he could never complete thanks to his position stuck on the ground. And then, once again, we will visit the fact that he always got STEPPED IN.
Which was the case right now.
"HEY! WATCH IT, CAN'T YOU SEE THERE'S SOMEONE DOWN HERE?" He bellowed, eyes narrowed.
