Oh, I do recall the many days before I had even entered school; my step father would look back at me, in the back seat of the car, as he drove me and my mother home from some sort of outing..
He would ask me, "What can I beat you for today?"
What a wonderful parent.

And yet, years later, and in school; when I was asked about my home life, and I explained the occasional belt whipping I would get for forgetting to wash the dishes, or fold my laundry, my step father was put on the child abuse watch list. And then, my mother proceeded to yell at me, and tell me that because I was spoiled, that my step father would get sent to jail because I decided to lie.

Only a year or so ago did my mother finally learn from my granddad that my step father did, indeed beat the living shit out of me, often; and that my mother was somehow, completely unaware.

Its funny how long it takes some parents to realize things, that they don't want to.

I texted the wrong person and I get a text from his father yelling at me and calling me an idiot because I was texting at 10 at night. I didn't yell back but the thought that he had the guts to yell at me and call me an idiot hurt. He didn't even know who I was, I'm good friends with his son but he has never really met me.

My boyfriend's sister-in-law's mother treats him like he is her son. She yells at him like none other, he was sagging his pants a little and she was telling him to pull them up. She yelled at him for many others things, while I was standing there in the room. She had just met me that day, because I was helping her daughter and my boyfriend baby-sit two little kids.

That hasn't really happened to me. My sister has been yelled at, but only when she's actually done something. The most I've ever gotten was nagging.

Happens to me all the time. And being the youngest(my parents seemed to favour the middle child, my brother) as they say "Shit rolls downhill, and gains momentum". I get yelled at for things my dad did, and my mom KNOWS he did it. She just wont yell at him for it. Now, my dad would never hit my mom, and she knows it. Im just the closest one that she can yell at. Hell, I get yelled at when the CAT is crying alot, and Im in a completely different room, even on a different floor of the house. I cant wait until I have a stable job, and can find a nice place to move out to. Then I wont have to worry about being yelled at for things I didnt even do. Oh, and being 22 it pisses me off right away, and usually I just walk away grab a coat, my boots, and go for a nice 2hour walk turning my phone off and listening to my music at full blast.

Heh, oh yeah it has happened to me on occasion. Even when my sister still lived with me, (in the mornings) my mom would go into pissed-off-white-woman-mode and blame me and/or my sis for something that went missing (like a pair of tweezers or something), tell us how we aren't allowed in her bathroom anymore, and then find it somewhere in her room. >_>

That's the exact same thing my mother and little sister got a fight into a few times. Though it's my mother not cleaning off her plates, bowls, or cups before putting them in the sink, yelling at my little sister saying it is her. She also yells at my little sister for not doing the dishes more. Uh, Hello! She does them 3x as good as my mother does them and every few days. My mother only does them once a week or two.

Most of the time when I'm yelled at I deserve it.. no matter how much I hate it. So I don't really have a story to tell myself.

I'm the youngest, and my older sister(OldER not oldEST) ALWAYS is stealing stuff from my oldest sister, mom, and me!! But yet, I always get blamed for it!! In fact, she stole like $35 off me once, and my mom blamed ME for lying!!! I was only 7!! at 7 years old $35 is a HUUUGE amount of money!!

That happens to me ALL the time. I clean up and my sister escapes and then I don't get yelled at but I then have to put away the cleans and rinse and clean the dirties cause apparently I didn't do the dishes. I obviously did the dishes, but nobody realizes. Then I am stuck to do them again! When it is my sisters turn. I end up doing the yelling at my parents, haha.

My sister freaked out on me when we were 14 and tried to kill me with a butcher knife. She claimed she was posessed.
