I'm about to head out again...I just got back from class and I am in no mood to paint right now because my hand is killing me just from writing the teacher/class critique thingie. :/

But I'm going to go take picture up on the Blue Ridge Parkway. :D There are clouds in the sky! So I want pictures! Although...it is kinda hazy...wish I was able to go do that the other day when there were clouds in the sky and it was pretty much clear...but I had classes and things to do...so i wasn't able to go and do that. :/

Nope...just had the one class in the morning and we got out early because it is the last meeting of that class.

so i think the people across the roof from us got evicted already... i'm pretty sure they are the ones that had a boxer puppy. the landlord is parked in their carport thingy. :/ so glad we don't have much longer here. hoping we know something about our loan today. after that all we have to do is get the house inspected, buy insurance and sign the closing papers! :boogie:

Aww...then hopefully the landlord doesn't see you furry babies until after yall are basically out! That way yo can't get evicted...although...you are supposed to have 30 days once being evicted. Or at least around here...my grandparents had to go to court twice with their former tenant...

Yeah i've heard you are supposed to get 30 days, but what if you just moved in? i don't think they were here even a month! looks like he's leaving now.. i hope anyways. or not.... sometimes he just wanders outside. really annoying.

Although...I think you get an eviction notice and then a final notice (because I know my grandparents gave them a final notice that happened in court)...and the landlord delivered it? Here it is supposed to come through the court as an official statement. But they send the kind of statement the landlords want to use.

huh... maybe since they just moved in, they didn't have a lot of stuff and left right away. so do we need do give him thirty days notice that we are moving?

Do yall have to give the landlord 30 days notice? I don't know...on one end...it would be nice...on the other end...well...it would leave yall enough time to get packed and situated...especially if you don't want him to see the furry babies. I'd probably say treat it like a job to be on the safe side...give two weeks notice?

Unless you really want to be mean to him...don't give him any notice until you're like "Bye! We're not renting from you anymore we have our own place. Good luck finding someone new to rent from you." XD

LOL!! I think if we have enough time, we'll give him some notice, but otherwise we'll prolly be like "bye!!" lol!! :rofl: as soon as we get the keys to the house, the fur babies are going over there. :yes:

haha glad you think so! hopefully it'll be early enough in the day i can get some cleaning done at the house. the people that were there got foreclosed on and i guess they left the house a mess. so the floors need moped/vacuumed/shampooed before we move any furniture in. shouldn't take too long to move stuff i hope!

would it be mean to wait until we got everything moved out before we let them know?? so if hubby told him today, would the landlord be able to come in our apartment while we are still here or does he have to wait until we are gone?

maybe hubby could tell him after we the animals moved and stuff cleaned up from them...

Well...the cleaning will probably take a while...moving...if it is just two of you would take a while...when my mom and I moved out when my parents were getting a divorce...we did it in three days...but we have up to around a total of 10 people helping us with large vehicles. My dad didn't help because he was up in maryland that weekend helping some friends up there work on a room and at least she knew my mom was planning on leaving my dad (and me obviously and the friends who helped us move).

Technically...I don't think he can come in unless you invite him in...but that really doesn't stop a lot of landlords.
But I'd wait till at least you move the furry babies out first.

I'm sure we'll have plenty of people to move stuff, my dad, both brothers, hubby's brother and uncle. we really dont have that much stuff. *shrugs*
