I have to leave sometime soon as well...I don't know when...but I'm tired of sitting here on the computer in jewelry ready to leave. Was supposed to leave as soon as my mom got home from work...but that ain't happening now since she wasn't able to get a hold of her father/my grandfather. But we are still supposed to go out...she just ain't giving me a time even though she said give her a little bit of time...she's been home for over an hour now.

Hello! Apparently I forgot about this thread because it was popping up in my subscribed threads because I must have glanced at it once than never posted and then no one else posted. :/ So I am now posting. :D

Currently I do not know what the future is going to be like...as in the near future...my grandfather is in the hospital and we don't know exactly what is going to happen or when they are going to release him or anything. We know he's going to be in there for at least two more days. After that, we don't really know what is going to happen. And we might be taking turns staying up at his house with him...which when I'm up there I won't be on because he does not have internet...or cable...I don't even think he can watch tv now that everything is hi-def...but I'm not 100% certain on that one though. I do know he has a DVD player because we bought him one and gave me Oh Brother Where Art Thou and he really likes that movie. XD

OH!! I hope he's doing better soon!! What's wrong with him?? :hug: well you take some books or do some drawing while you are at his house.

Well...when my mom called for an ambulance, he could get up at all. When the ambulance came, they couldn't get the stretcher back to where he is at (the house is small) so they had three people back there trying to get him and they were all thinking he may be having a stroke while doing that but when checked out there were no signs of a stoke. He had kidney failure which his test results on his kidneys keep on improving now every time they check them. He hasn't been eating and he hasn't been taking his medicine either. He's done improved a lot since he's been in the hospital though. he was also dehydrated.

That's all I can think of at the moment.

ACK!!! two months without the remote! oh the pain and agony you must be in Linnea!! we finally found ours this morning, tucked away in the couch. checked that couch like twice and didn't see it before.

ugh hubby is staining the floor in the basement, when you look up you see the wood flooring of the main level, and for some reason he thinks it needs stained. so it's starting to STINK in here. *barfs*

my little sister 'misplaced' it and i've cleaned her room and still can't find the dang thing! :illgetu: friggin seven year olds!!!

i kind of like the smell of stain... well, wood stain i do >.>

you lose the remote!! I hate when that happens! one of our tvs was missing the remote for half a year! it was awful!

wow six months? i think i would have gone out to get a universal before that long :P

I've lost the battery back of my remote for around six months before. XD But I've never lost the actual remote...for my old tv...I did misplace it for a few days before I was able to find it...but I had tried an universal remote with that one and because it was so old, it would not accept any universal remote. :/ I tried...

It was 16 years old when I got rid of it (basically I got rid of it in december when my grandparents bought me the one I have now for christmas). The only reason I got rid of it was because it had started to give that high pitch noise every so often. :/
