So... ok... to find out how many calories you should take in each day while working out do this:
Calculate your resting metabolic rate(RMR) (how many calories you burn through a day doing nothing pretty much) by taking your body weight and multiplying it by 10. That's how many calories you burn while sleeping XD.
Then...
Take your RMR and multiply that by 20% and that is how many calories you need for daily movement apart from exercise.
Then...
If you are doing a good work out a day, add your RMR, your daily burn and 500 more calories to find out how many calories you should be taking in a day.

This is from my P90X book on the fat burn side. Who wants recipes :P

Ok chicken ^^

I have to type it all out so be patient :sweat:

CHICKEN SCRAMBLE

you need:
6 egg whites, 3 ounces of chicken breast (cooked and diced), 1.5 ounces of fat-free parmesan cheese grated, 1/2 a tablespoon fresh basil chopped

Step one:
Coat non-stick cooking skillet with cooking spray and place over medium heat.
Step two:
Lightly beat egg whites with a fork and add to pan. Cook, stirring until halfway set. Add the diced chicken and cook through. Add salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with cheese on top.

you have to get your metabolism going, so eat!
try to keep portions as small as your fist.

what?? that many?? O.O that's seems too much to me. :XP

oh i get up and go potty, then get something to eat, then check mene, then exercise, take a shower, then get back on mene, then if it's dirty in here i clean up by then it's time for lunch and hubby comes home for lunch and when he goes back, i get back on mene and am usually stuck all afternoon till he comes home again, then i make supper. sometimes i'm still hungry i'll have an evening snack.

With working out, I put it 300 calories with working out instead of the full amount to make it a little less. But that's what the book says. Lucky :D But if you eat healthy stuff, it takes mroe calories to burn all that, so you actually loose more weight.

you crrack the egg and dump it into your hand.
put the yoke into another bowl.
or you can buy containers of just egg whites.

you need to eat more meals a day.
breakfast within one hour of waking,
three to four hours later you need to eat again.
snacks are eating so it counts as one of your meals.
smaller portions more often.
it works, trrust me.
hummy is trust worthy.

1 oz lowfat cheese
8 oz cottage cheese
1 oz dried fruit
1 frozen fruit bar
8 oz frozen sorbert
12 mini rice cakes
4 oz non fat yogurt
1 tablespoon peanutbutter with celery sticks
2 oz soy nuts
1 oz string cheese
1 oz turkey jerky
8 oz non fat yogurt, plain

it really works.
if you keep your energy at a good level you won't want to snack,
or worse, overy-eat when you get to your third meal.
that's the worse one to over-eat buecause you don't worrk off the calories.

oh, another thing.
don't sleep less that one hourr after you eat.

Sleeping right after you eat is so bad. And if you sit in front of the tv and get the urge to snack, try celery. They are pretty much negarive calories >.>

celery does stink,
but it's cheap and such a grreat filler.
slice them like carrot sticks.
vary them with carrot sticks and it's not so bad.
but chew them up because ti's better for you digestive wise.

Keep some tums around. or some milk for the heart burn?

Celery is stringy but it has like maybe 2 calories and your body burns more than that just processing it. Also it has fiber and all that. Eat it with the peanutbutter. it's good that way! Or put some rasins on top of the peanutbutter. We called that, "ants on a log" :D
