iku- that's true, but what happens when the boys move out? i think we'll always have tons of cats the way hubby is. one or two cats is ok but when you have as many as we do they are freakin annoying.
HI KAT!!! :glomp: been busy with school?

Sometimes just having it around my waist real tight is enough, but not this time. I had to put the wrist cuffs on too and for a while. I struggled until I was worn out, now I am feeling pretty tired but very relaxed.

That's an interesting way to relax. Do you DO anything while you're wearing it. Or try to do anything, liek make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich or something? :P

What I can do is pretty limited. The whole point is to do nothing and give my brain time to unscramble. I still get overloaded easily. I still have to take my meds to regulate my mood swings, but I really prefer the physical restraints when things go out of bounds, compared to having to take a lot stronger meds. I know most other people in my situation would choose the opposite. If I'm restrained, I know exactly the moment when my head clears. If I'm drugged up, it may never clear. I have a lot lower dosage of the psych meds than I had 3 years ago.

thanks Iku, we did ok. kaleb only got sick once. which was one time too many, but at least it wasn't like last week. :/ hopefully we don't have to go like that again. i'd rather spent a little time in the city rather than get there and have to drive right back. it's far to do that. :gonk:

Kimby, I know what you mean about prefering the physical restraints. I myself do not like drugs that will alter your state of mind. I don't like that fuzzy feeling and I really don't like that we can be controlled by sibstances so easily. I don't want to be a sheep. But that's not here nor there, "how are you?" is more on track.
llonka - why was it just you that had to go out there? And sometimes, drugs are ok. Mind altering ones suck but ones to help you not get motion-sick might be ok. Didn't Jeremy go out with you? If you had two vehicles I would put one kid in each... and I'd take the one that was less liekly to get sick :ninja:

eh Jeremy had to work. it sucked. i was so tired and sore from driving. hopefully we never have to do that again. and i really need to find something for Kaleb so he won't get sick like he does. i asked his doctor and they said just to give him benadril. yeah that does no good. can you get motion sick stuff for little kids?

I don't like driving that much anymore, it's always so rushed. if I were on vacation for a long time and there was no rush so I could drive slow an dlook around and stuff, it'd be cool. Or if I were racing someone cross country, but that doesn't happen. Dyphenhydramine is the same thing as benadry llonky. :D And sominex, the night time sleep aid is the same thing as benadryl as well  I didn't know til about 3 years ago when I was comparing them. Same ingriedients and everything. They sure have the wool pulled over our eyes, eh?
----------
I mean Diphenhydramine is also known as Dramamine, which is benadryl.

i know huh? we flew through Wichita and it kinda pisses me off. i mean if you are going to drive that far shouldn't you spend some time in the city? not that i wanted to spend more time with father in law but yeah.

Make sure to take it at least 30 minutes before heading out though. That stuff is slow to work and if they throw it up, then it's kind of useless :( And.. I want a road trip to McDonalds. Is McDonalds far away?
Oh I see. Yes, you should spend more tiem in town. Especially if you live so far away from it. Kansas. *shakes head* You definitely need to spend tie in towns when you go through them. For your sanity and all that. I didnt like Kansas much, but I guess it was cause it was kinda flat... and driving made me fall asleep cause there wasn't anything to look at... I don't know how you did it! :O

Oh yeah... no wonder it took so long sometimes. nah McDonalds is about 10 minutes away from our house. we even live next to the manager!
haha i guess i'm used to it? i did get really sleepy when were around Folwer, Ks (it's really small town) where we live it's really flat and hardly any trees, the closer to missouri you get, the more trees and hills there are. did you get out here to western kansas?

The oral route is the slowest acting. You know this llonka! :D Oooh wow... sounds like an easy way in the door if you wanted a job there. :XD I'd ride my bike to work if I lived that close... or if I could find the keys to unlock the lock on my bike >.> Darn itl.. I can't remember... <.<
I went from uh... around Wichita all the way eat to TN. I don't remember the name of the town we started in but it was closer to the middle-ish area. That was with the ex... douchbag. -___- He made me drive the huge U-haul truck all that way. like, 16 hours of driving. Over rickety bridges and stuff. It sucked.

hahaha i know i should remember all this stuff. d'oh! see what happens when you are at home all the time! i'm ready go back to school and get my medical assistant certificate. i think i'd rather be in a doctor office than in the nursing home or hospital. :P and i know, we should start walking or riding bikes but hubby is pretty lazy.
Goddard? Pratt? Kingman? it does suck. the farthest east i have been would prolly be Branson, MO or Columbia, MO. i've been to Indiana but don't really remember because i was little.
