It was actually really good...

I wish we had leftovers. Really need to go to the store, but have to wait till Saturday when we get food monies again.

I was going to go to the mall tomorrow, but they're talking about freezing rain as a possibility during the day.

No way I'm going out in THAT weather!

Well, WE wouldn't scare you cuz we come from North Dakota/Minnesota where we learned to drive in the snow/sleet.

LOL That's how people drive here in Kansas on the snow too. I hate it. To be honest, I think it's the Hispanic population. No offense or anything, they just don't know how to drive it.

it scares me.
i go slow and steady.
i hit some black ice once and spun my bug 360 like four time.
i slammed into a tree and all i did was a little dent, but was stuck.
i had to walk home and get chewed out by my father,no worries if i was hurt or anything.
ever since then i have been afraid of something like that happening again so i am slow and careful.

The thing that drives me nuts is when a driver is going over a patch of ice, and they must think "Oh ice! I'd better slow down", and they hit the brakes.

That's when you spin out. The LAST thing you should do on ice is hit your brakes.
It's not as bad now with the anti-lock brakes that most cars have, but you'll still sliiiide away.

I remember one time I was driving from North Dakota back to my house in Rochester, MN. It was glare ice the entire way.
On one patch of road, it was kinda sloped, and I just slide right off the road.
I never touched my brakes...I just kept steady pressure on the gas, allowed the car to go into the ditch, and then just came right back out!

After that I followed the salt truck at 20 mph the entire way back.

I like your avie, llonka!
Looking really good!

They always say to steer into the slide to correct.
I couldn't really tell you what I do. It's just kind of automatic.

Well, it USED to be automatic. It's been years since I've driven on ice.
