Ugh my husband is irritating. I wanna go to the furniture store to look at rugs but he's making up all these excuses. >.>

oh rugs can be very pretty, I would love to get myself a few oriental ones, They had a beautiful one at a gallery store a few weeks ago

maybe it's better to just use throw rugs
much cheaper and if the kitties pee all over them not a huge waste?

we went to two furniture stores and one let us bring a rug home to try out. I like the colors of it, but it doesn't really match my new paint, just the furniture. the rug we brought home isn't big enough so we'll have to take it back, they can order a bigger size for us. the first store had one that is a foot smaller than what the second store can order. it's got browns and whites in it, i think it would match my yellow wall better.

I would say throw rugs hummy, but i'm not sure we are thinking the same thing?

I hope the rugs aren't too expensive for you.

I hope not too. The one I picked out is nice and plushy! Hope it stays that way for a while.

well these are small and i think they can be dry cleaned.

rather sillie than pee stained again, yeah?
kitties are stubborn and can smell it even in the wood.
i hope it works out for you dry cleaning a carpet will be expensive.

My mom said just use the shampooer on it if they pee on it, but since the rugs wont be in the corners, they shouldn't pee on them. They better not or i'll be really upset.

As long as you keep up with it, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Okay that's what i thought too, it was just because it got down into the padding and wood. I think if i can catch it right away i can clean it up. I went to put on some jeans i had laying on the floor and they were peed on. So what, they can't pee on the carpet now so they gonna pee on whatever is on the damn floor? I'm gonna start rehomeing cats if this keeps up.

Are the litter boxes clean? I know we had a cat who would pee on what is left on the floor.... I don't know how many times my book bag got peed on.

Well we usually try to clean them once a day, but I get so busy I forget about it or just don't want to do it. >.<;

I ordered some rugs yesterday from one of the furniture stores here in town, hope they get here fast!

Kaleb's surgery yesterday went well. He woke up scared and told the nurses he had a nitemare. Something about he was in our backyard and then he fell into a hole then he woke up and was in the weird room at the hospital. He got sick on the way home and cried his ear hurt for awhile but once Jacob got home from school, he started feeling better and they played all night.

That is one reason that cats will pee on stuff... >.>' or they could be marking territory if they are male cats.

Thanks hummy! He's doing a lot better now. Hopefully the hole in his eardrum will heal up now. Still talking about taking him to a different Primary care doctor. Might even take him to my uncle... at least we know he'd be taken care of the correct way...

I'm sure the smell is probably in the wood. I'm just not going to lay rugs in those spots. I still think we need to find homes for about three of them.
