Its pretty cool. its hard to have to mix all my colors and the assignments are pretty specific, but we're allowed to talk and listen to music in class. I had the same teacher last semester for drawing and he didn't let us talk in class. said that you couldn't talk and draw like you can talk and mix color.

Rice milk and almond milk....only the enriched kind though. Also certain types of tub margarine, and they make chewable chocolate calcium supplements. I'm lactose intolerant so I familiar with most of the options. Soy milk ish nasty! Blech!

I know that topic was couple of pages ago but I thought I'd comment anyway.

I'm intolerant and take a dietary supplement for it, but I really don't like milk and yogurt and most cheese so I get sick anyways.

in this class. someone put music quietly on the computer last class and he was alright with it. he's really picky about classifying colors though. oh well, I'm starting to mix some nice colors now and almost liking the class. I actually don't like pain much.

I haven't much experience with it and I'm no good really. I'm good with dry mediums.

Rice milk and almond milk are nice because they don't really taste like milk but you can still use them on cereal and such. Rice milk is really good and it comes in chocolate too. I used to drink it for breakfast...oh, most hot chocolate has calcium. You can make it with water and it is good.

I like to do watercolors. I've never had much experience with acrylics or oils. Pencil drawing is fun too. My best stuff is papermache and collages.

hot chocolate I can do!! I can't really go to the store for a while since I'm stranding on campus, but I have some stuff in my dorm room and in the campus stores.

I liked using watercolors. I've used them a few times and I did alright.

I like finger painting! I can't do that in classes though. on my own, yes.

I'd rather use transparent colors. I think I just suck with paint though. oh, and painting with a pallet knife is fun.

really? I really like to work very small scale so my worst paintings are the larger ones. the first paintings I did just as a technique study are definitely my best work.

Watercolors are good because they are pretty forgiving....and they wash out of my clothes...I'm kind of messy.

Fingerpaints are cool. I don't usually do them any more though. I may get some soon to do with the baby. He's almost two so art can be something to start working on. Now that I don't think he'll just eat the paint.

Yay! Hot Chocolate!! *goes to make some* I know well the aggravation of being stranded. No gas. lol.

yeah, but you can't paint over it without changing the color if you mess up.

I don' think I've used them in a long time!

I don't have a car or friends....

I didn't either when I was living in the dorms.

Water colors can actually be washed out really pale if you mess up, by painting with only water on the brush....then you blot to pick up the excess water and paint and when it is mostly dry you paint over the bad spot. That does only work if you are using heavy watercolor paper.

it kinda sucks because they don't have all the supplies I need for my art classes here. I actually needed to take and develop pictures for my design class and build 3-D models.

yeah, but it ends up kinda different if you had a lot of layers there. it will show along the edges of where you repaint an area right?
