I do all the cooking around here. :/ Cooking, baking, housework, plus homework, and charity, and no time for a job even though I'm supposed to be off to college next year... =grumblegrumblegrumble= And they won't let me use my lactose-free cheese or milk, or my gluten-free crusts or whatnot when making their food, 'cause they're selfish and suck. =whines=

They can tell the difference. =sighs= We're a family of foodies, so we can tell if there's the slightest change in something.

Yeah, it's just annoying, 'cause it takes extra time, so usually I just go for oatmeal or something instead to avoid the hassle...

Well, when the pizza does show up, enjoy it! I have to get the name of a pizza place around here that makes gluten-free pizza.

I know The Distillery does, and they're pretty good, but it'd be nice to find a less-expensive place where I could get gluten-free foodstuffs.

Why is it that only the expensive restaurants take the time to make allergen-free menus? IT SUUUUUCKS.

It's probably because making allergen-free things is more time-consuming and they assume anyone with allergies will remember to take the time to ask if there's something in the food that they can't have, but like... for people like me... I'm allergic to mushrooms, hard cheese, and wheat. I can't have creams or grease either. So sometimes finding food can be really difficult, and sometimes finding it in the menu and remembering to check to see if it's "safe" is pretty difficult too.

Also, allergen-free foodstuffs tend to be more expensive. Which is stupid, especially with gluten-free food, 'cause the US grows so much excess corn, gluten-free food should be readily available everywhere.
