What is 1sg? O.o to me, that just looked like 1 Singapore! LOL! (I work for a Singaporean Bank so everything reminds me of it)

After 1 year of putting it off, I finally put in my first fixed deposit! I feel happy :P

Well it's not really a requirement to be insane and be in the thread, it's just a recomendation. And only because it makes things a lot more fun and interesting around here. That's where all the crazy ideas came from that are littered around here like the jell-o pool. And the super awesome tree house. And the velcro walls. You can put on the velcro straight jacket, run and bounce off the trampoline and stick to the wall. XD It's really, really fun. You should try it out sometime.

1sg, is First Sergeant. He's like the highest ranking enlisted soldier in a company of soldiers. So like, my old boss I guess you could say. And he's super awesome and I luffs him and :boogie: *does the happy dance* So worked at a bank huh? How old are you pan, if you don't mind me asking?

A fixed deposite? Into a bank I assume? So you mean, you set up something where it will automatically take that fixed amount out of your paycheck every month, or is it something completely different?

But I can't finish any of the stories I've started writing so I'd be a starving artist forever. Nuuuu! I like food too much to want to starve :gonk:

I want to be insane! Its Monday and I think I should be insane because its only the start to a very long week and I don't want to be calm and collected throughout the week. That's boring :( I've seen a Japanese television show with that game! It looks like a hell of fun! I wish I could try it! But if I remember correctly, I think it was pretty hard to get the participants off the sticky wall XD

Ah, that makes a lot more sense that 1 Singapore! LOL! Because our country's motto is '1 Malaysia' since we have 3 main races and we are supposed to stay united as 1. That's why I kept thinking 1 Singapore XD I feel silly now!

And no worries, age is not a sensitive subject to me... yet. I'm 23 this year :) And have been working for just over a year at the Bank. Its an interesting job. Perhaps not one I would stay at for long but I'm now learning a lot of things just from working there.

Fixed deposit is something like a savings but its fixed. So the money you put in will be locked for say a month (you can choose a specific tenor) so after a month, you can withdraw the principal amount and interest above it. This is to prevent money from just sitting inside the account doing nothing :P At least putting it in FD will allow us to make some money. Plus, we get a staff rates so I ejoy a higher interest payout!

Haha! Its a habit of ours to type really long isn't it? I feel its more natural sometimes. Not for the gold really... just because I can;t seem to shut up sometimes!

Well if this week is a long week then doesn't that mean that every week is a long week, so that means that you should never be sane. Especially on weekends. Haha.. that's the time to get out and really go nuts. I think that the best way to dismount the wall after being stuck to it would be to take the velcro clothes off. As long as you have something on underneath it you should be ok ;) And if not then you just gave everyone else a show XD

Some people don't want to say their age, wether it's because they are really young and that might make me feel like some kinda creeper asking a 12 year old how old they are, and some people don't want to say because they are really old and they feel old. But I'm 26 myself, so you're not as old as me. Haha... but I refuse to say that I am old or anything of the sort until I reach the age of at least 80 years. After that, I am allowed to be old. I guess.

Oh I see. Like savings bonds and stuff. People get them for their kids and grandkids so that when they reach a certain age they can withdraw the money from teh bank. Of course when they leave it in for years and years it like quadruples the amount they put in and more and then their kids are rich :stare: Wish my mom would have thought to do something like that for me. Hmm... I should do something like that for my daughter. :lol: Nice. More interest is awesome. I bet when you do get the money out for yourself, you will wish that you had started the fixed deposite long ago.

Well I like writing longer posts and it's always easier with fewer people around. If you have a lot of people all talking at once you miss a lot of the things that are being said so you are forced to write short replies. Otherwise, you might seem rude for having missed a lot of the conversation. But I do kinda need the gold cause someone wants to get a christmas present for someone else on mene and most of the gold that I have already will be going to pay for half of it. So... hopefully they like it.

Haha! On weekends I'm normally out being crazy in real life so now its time for me to be crazy online. AHHHH!!! *random scream of craziness* I'm watching Batman Forever now, the one with the Riddler so maybe that will inspire me to act more insane :P I realized how bad the acting is now. I used to think it was the coolest thing ever when I was younger! And yeah, usually in those games, there would be people to pull you down so its quite safe. Don't think I would ever get the chance to play it though ^^"

And you aren't old. 26 is young! I think it is at least. And I remember you mentioning you already have a daughter. So you are a young mother. That's really admirable :) I doubt I'd be able to handle such a responsibility at that age. I on't think I plan to get hitched anytime soon either. Plus, I have no one to get hitched to at the moment! XD But its okay, I will work hard for my career and buy me a nice car and house first!!!

My parents did not have any fancy savings investment plan for me either but I'm lucky to be able to have parents who were able to support me throughout my studies. I still live with them now so I'm still able to enjoy whetever my parents work for. But a savings fund/plan would have definitely eased some of the finances. LOL! I feel like I am reciting this out of my daily work routine when I try to cross sell investment products to my clients.

I don't really need much gold at the moment but I definitely have a few things I would like to buy before their prices skyrocket. And I'd like to save enough gold for me to have a happy shopping spree during the Christmas event! Pan be wanting a lot of commons!

I miss weekends :( But I'd pull you down from the wall if you want. I should make one of those at my house XD I want to have a trampoline anyway and buy a dirt bike when I get back so I'll probably end up breaking my neck one way or another. Either way I will have an awesome story to tell everyone from my wheel chair. :lol:

At least you will be well set up by the time you do havea family. And no rush. I mean if my daughter wasn't so completely awesome I'd probably regret having her so young but I don't. She's the best. haha. I really miss having her around all the time, I just hope when she's an angsty teenager she doesn't hate me too much for being in the Army. I started paying for my Jeep when I was 16, I didn't get it payed off til I was 21 and I love it. lol. It's like my first baby to me. After this deployment I'm going to fix it up really nice, it deserves it you know? It's 12 years old now! hahaha.

Haha... nice. Sounds like you have the ideas pretty well down pat since that's what you do with your job. But at least you know the truth behind it, that makes it easier to sell to other people. When you are passionate about something people feel it and are more willing to work with you because they know that you are telling the truth. lol

I hope that I'm able to be around for the Christmas event. Last year they had a lot of nice things and it was a lot of fun. All fo the events I have been around for were a lot of fun actually, and that's usually when this place gets super busy. I love it. I wish I could change the layout of this page so that it looked like it had chirstmas decoreations on it or something. ^^

I love weekends! But sometimes my weekends don't exsit since I just fall asleep most of the time and only go out at night. You're a really adventurous person to want to buy a dirt bike O.O I'm not that adventurous! The most I want would probably be a skateboard or something and even then I feel like I'd already be a super rebel! XD

And a jeep! I always wanted a jeep. I mean, I like the idea of driving around and feeling taller than everyone. Probably its because I always feel I am not a really good driver and having a jeep would mean most drivers on the road would plan to avoid me XD I now own a small little car which I love and named 'Boboko'. He's my baby and gets me aroundplaces safely. I may want a nice car but for now Boboko serves its purpose well.

LOL! I am not really passionate about my job really. I may not like the day to day responsibilities but I find it alrght for now. Since I am still young and working my way up, I feel I should suffer a little more now to make sure I have a comfortable future. So work hard now when I can and relax later. That's my idea of a good life.

I hope you are around too. I know I will pretty much be because I have nowhere to go during that time of the year XD I have not been here for any Christmas event despite joining 2 years back... So this will actually be my first Mene Christmas!

My favorite person in the world, my nearly idol that is if I had an idol is... Travis Pastrana. He's completely amazing. And smexy to boot. Ever heard of him? He started out with BMX so I'm gonna do some of his tricks and end up breaking my neck I'm sure of it. That or snowboarding. I guess I'm kind of an adrenaline junky. Sleepingon the weekends and going out at night is what you are supposed to do! lol. That's when all the interesting people come out anyway. Skateboarding looks fun! I'm sure I'd spend more time on my face than anything though XD

That's a good way to think about it. You know, it seems that most American's now adays don't think about that. They just want instant gratification and don't want to work for anything if the profit is going to be in the future. I kinda wish that people would think about that more than what they do. Also with conserving things in the planet. You know? I would likeit for my grandkids to be able to see all the same things that I did without having to just read about them in a book because they were destroyed or extinct.

Wow! you don't have anything to do? That could change though. You could get invited to a last minute christmas party or something like that. Would be fun. Except for those work parties, then you run the chance of making yourself look like a fool infront of your boss and coworkers. XD

OMG! I know him. He was like 16 when he won the gold medal for the X-Games right? I was a totul nut for the X-Games when I was younger <3 I loved aggressive in-line skating and when we had the X-Games in Malaysia twice, I went for both. I was super lucky to be able to get to watch Moto-X live in front of my eyes. Sadly though, they haven't had the X-Games here in awhile. Hope I'm able to go to the states to watch it just once!

Yeah, lots of people now only want comfortable jobs and don't expect to work hard for it. I completely disagree though... I know it sucks for me not being able to do what I am really passionate in but I plan to do that sometime in the future when I have money to invest in my own business then I can dedicate my time to that. I would love to own my own interior design business! I have to save up to take a course in it first though ^^"

Haha! I have not planned anything yet. Most people will probably be hanging out somewhere or going on holiday. Its actually one of my friend's birthdays ont hat exact day. Perhaps we might have some special party. I know I'm going to be working on Christmas eve... but its alright, its a half-day of work <3

Boboko is... a Malaysian made car. Perodua Myvi XD Not sure if anyone outside of South East Asia would know what that is. He's small, chubby and cute! But macho at the same time ^^

Woo! Oriental should be my specialty I guess since I am Chinese and all. Though my future house, I have already imagined what it would look like and it is FAR from oriental! I love the stainless steel metal and marble modern look. And owning a bar would be cool! All the free drinks! Well, of course you paid for them but the idea is cool right? Your friends would be happy!

Christmas here really isn't a huuuge holiday XD I mean its big because of the decorations and sales but not many people here actually celebrate it. We just celebrate it for the giving and receiving presents. Half day is fine with me since I just go to work, chit chat and go home since it will pretty much be a free day then.

And yeah, that place is full of Kias! I went to Seoul in September for my birthday and it was awesome! <3 Loved it there. The atmosphere and the cleanliness! I was amazed at how sanitary the place was!

They are sort of neat and clean people aren't they? Koreans are pretty nice too. I kinda almost miss it. I don't want to live there again but I wouldn't mind visiting. :) I had some really good friends there as well.
