so today is the day! (hopefully) what do you guys think, does it really matter if i get a guinea pig from a pet store or from the shelter?? of course ours doesn't have any. only place around here to get one is the pet shop. what do you think?

I stopped growing at 12.

We have a 10 yr old Boston Terrier, a 4 year old Bull Mastiff, and a 2 yr old Boxer

*hugs Ashley* putting a dog down hurts. 3 years ago, 2 days after Valentines, we had to put our 13 year old Boston down. She was deaf and blind... God I still miss her. Sweetest little thing.

My dog went blind before he died, he had a heart attack.

hmm i got on this guinea pig forum and they are shaking theirs fingers at me for wanting to buy one from the pet store. they say "wait for your shelter to get one or look on craig's list!" yeah but in my area most people don't use those kind of things. would I be a horrible person if we got one from the pet store, then told them we adopted one?

sorry i'm worried about a silly guinea pig.. about doggies, we took care of my great grandpa's dog after he passed away and she had seizures and one day she got so bad, we had to put her down. poor thing. i loved her so much, she was my doggy. my mom and dad have an english bulldog and a shih zhu right now. :D and four cats. :lol:

I don't think so... your giving an animal a loving home, thats what really matters right?
