Yeah. I'm kind of surprised their developers haven't run out of random things to dish out to the Cash Shop yet. There's so many new items released practically every week. I could go to the Marketplace right now, and I probably won't recognize half the items there.

Fading, exactly, it was the over production of new cash shop items that was one of the reasons why I quit. I made my gold vending, and I just couldn't keep up with the fluctuating prices and all the new items that appeared every week.

Same here. I left because of all the constant new items, not seeing any hope of my main being returned to me, and having a fall out with two people of whom I had viewed as friends but ended badly. I just wasn't happy on there anymore, so I spent a few hours searching on Google, and Menewsha popped up.

What really made me make up my mind about joining was the home page image, Magnus looked almost just like Rude from Final Fantasy VII! I laughed over that for a while, which was something I needed at the time, so I joined. XD

I'm so glad I made that choice back then. :3

I just stumbled across it, I think someone mentioned it on gaia or something. Strolling around the fresh meat forum here makes me feel great. It's always., hi i'm new! I switched over from gaia!
And I also smile smugly and think 'oh gaia, if you'd only cared more about your users...'

Possibly. They're probably dishing out more items in an attempt to attract more users. I know they like to ban people in hopes that they'll make a new account and spend more money in order to 'get their items back'. (it's insane how many people I know who were donators got banned out of the blue)

Fading, it's just corrupt, all they care about is more and more money. I hate gaia so much, I think I only stayed on it as long as I did because at the time I had no other option.

I joined because several friends kept nagging me about it. >_<
First time someone told me about Gaia, I was like, naaah, I have Myspace.
Then around a year later, some more friends pestered me about it, and I was tiring of MySpace anyway, so I thought, ok, fine, I'll give it a try.
Then went my days of attempting to get gold to dress my avatar up and failing miserably...*cough*

...Which didn't end too well, when a typhoon struck a few months ago and there was a few leaks in the room and everything got wet. Ech. My mom had to throw out a few shelves because they got all moldy.
